Grant Newark renovated our two-storey home in 2014.  This renovation involved extensive rock excavation on a steep block with the entire home undergoing extensive remodelling.

His team were punctual and expert in their jobs.  Grant, in our opinion, is a gifted builder, offering many creative and stylish solutions to us as the work progressed.  His suggestions as to floorboards, decking, doors, lighting, windows, rendering and even shower screens were excellent.  The end result is a masterfully built stunning home with clever design finishes and touches.

Grant Newark of Newark Constructions is currently engaged as our "builder" for the second stage of our home renovations, he completed the first stage in 2010. His attention to detail with reconstructing our 60 year old home is to be commended, because of the age of our house it has been a challenging project for Grant to get the house back into a sound building and he has done above and beyond to achieve this.  

Grant always keeps us informed on a daily basis on how the project is going and what is coming up in the next week or fortnight and ensuring that we have plenty of warning of the inconveniences that we may face as a family during the building process whilst still living in the house, such as completing redoing the bathroom but making sure we had "conveniences" to use whilst this was happening.  

Invoices are always submitted fortnightly and are detailed and concise. As each stage of the building is finished he goes through the building budget with us and he expertly advises where we need to progress to. Grant organises all the tradespeople and supplies, taking the hassle out of trying to do this ourselves.  

We would have no hesitation in recommending Newark Constructions as your home building contractor.
